Yamadori Nature & Forest Therapy

My Vision of Success for Yamadori Nature & Forest Therapy

When my practice as a forest therapy guide is successful, I’ll see familiar faces returning — participants who choose to come back again and again, bringing friends, partners, and family because the experience mattered to them. I’ll notice relaxed postures, softened faces, slower movements, and an ease in the group that grows as the session unfolds. I’ll see people lingering after tea, reluctant to rush back into their lives, carrying something quiet and intact with them.

I’ll hear thoughtful reflections, open and honest sharing, and simple phrases like “I didn’t realize how much I needed this,” or “I feel different than when I arrived.” I’ll hear curiosity, laughter, and long pauses that don’t need to be filled with chatter. I’ll receive messages days or weeks later—perhaps notes of gratitude, stories of how the forest bathing session stayed with someone, or requests to return. I’ll hear trust in the way participants show up fully, knowing they’re in a safe environment.

I’ll feel a full heart and an empty mind when the walk ends — grounded, calm, and quietly alive. I’ll feel a sense of rightness in my body, knowing I guided from presence rather than performance.

I’ll feel connected—to the land, to the natural world, and to the people who shared the experience.

Success will feel like alignment: ease in my guiding, confidence rooted in practice, and the deep knowing that forest therapy is both meaningful and sustainable for my lifestyle and future.
